kyodo announces price increases for 2010

January 13th, 2010 at 13:29

LawnBott’s US distributor, Kyodo America is sighting deflation of the US dollar as the reason for this year’s price increase. The prices have increased a lot for most LawnBott robotic lawn mowers this year… we’re talking a $500+ increase for some models making it the largest price jump to date.

The good news is: if you bought a LawnBott in previous years, you could sell it used and earn a profit if you can dare live without it!

The trend for increasing prices for robot mowers aren’t new. When I bought my first robotic lawn mower, Robomower RL500, about 8 years ago, I paid the retail price of $499 for it. Today Robomowers are more than double that amount.

Soon we will be updating pricing on our online store. If you know you’re going to order a LawnBott, I suggest doing so now before the new prices show up! You will get a 2010 mower at 2009 prices if you’re quick enough.

The 2010 LawnBott prices are as follows:

LawnBott Spyder LB1200: $1,399 (no change)
LawnBott LB2110: $2,299
LawnBott LB2150: $2,599
LawnBott LB3210: $3,399
LawnBott LB3250: $3,699
LawnBott LB3500: $3,999
